The French have produced a transparent "mock-ups", as in photos. In
the above pictures, the Museum of Le Bourget, the Mirage F1 "crystal"
(actually, plexiglass), made in order to show potential clients the
internal structure and layout of the onboard systems. It is used in the training of personnel working in the French fighter.
This kind of learning approch will surely increase the engineering understanding & will also create a physical feel of the disign constrains.
